Winner of the 2016 Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra Composition Competition
In the beginnings there was nothing, chaos ruled an undefined landscape where there was nothing and yet everything. Then the big bang. Elements are thrusted into being and matter appears in our universe. Gravity takes hold. Slowly but surely the astral bodies around us suffer the transformation of time. Life appears...
This piece follows a path from chaos to order, from the formation of the universe to that of life.
This piece was written for the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra (BCSO). It was premiered on the 18th of November 2016 by the BCSO conducted by Francisco Noya in Cambridge, MA.
